Tim Durham, M.Ed., has been actively helping people at Family Life Services since 1991, when he became the Executive Director of the agency. In the fall of 2010, Tim graduated from Wichita State University with a Master’s degree in Counseling. This rigorous (46 credit hours) program included instruction on counseling theory, practice, technique, group counseling, personality development, assessments, cultural sensitivity, research, ethical issue, the DSM-IV, and other essential subjects.
Tim’s practice at Family Life Services includes work with pregnant women, encouraging them to have a healthy pregnancy. Counseling for couples and families in crisis is an important aspect of his practice, as clients request help about anxiety, depression, relationships, communication, budgeting, personality issues, and family conflict.
