Sandy Durham Arkansas City KS

Sandy Durham is the wife of Director, Tim Durham. She is an ordained minister and holds a BA Degree in Ministry from Jacksonville Theological Seminary. She earned an honorary Doctorate of Ministry of Christian Education, from The Christian University of Hawaii in 2003 due to extensive travel to 15 countries and 25 years of service in churches and communities in Florida, Tennessee, and Oklahoma.

Sandy was ordained as a Pastor in 2000 and in 2002 began Celebration Ministries International in Oklahoma City. She served as the lead Pastor of CMI until 2014. In November 2014 she married Tim Durham and relocated to Arkansas City.

Charla Myrick Arkansas City KS

Charla Myrick, RN, is the case manager for the Healthy Beginnings Program at Family Life Services. Charla has a passion for babies and for the past 2 1/2 years, she has instructed mothers on how to have a healthy pregnancy and how to give their babies the best chance for a healthy birth.

Charla is equipped to professionally work with women who are experiencing an unexpected or unwanted pregnancy. He purpose is to provide medical information and encouragement to help make basic health care decisions which are right for you. Her professional services are free to you if you are pregnant or think you might be pregnant.

Tim Durham Arkansas City KS

Tim Durham, M.Ed., has been actively helping people at Family Life Services since 1991, when he became the Executive Director of the agency.  In the fall of 2010, Tim graduated from Wichita State University with a Master’s degree in Counseling. This rigorous (46 credit hours) program included instruction on counseling theory, practice, technique, group counseling, personality development, assessments, cultural sensitivity, research, ethical issue, the DSM-IV, and other essential subjects.

Tim’s practice at Family Life Services includes work with pregnant women, encouraging them to have a healthy pregnancy. Counseling for couples and families in crisis is an important aspect of his practice, as clients request help about anxiety, depression, relationships, communication, budgeting, personality issues, and family conflict.
